There is good news that Shruti Amrute from Thane District has been selected to represent India for World School Championship. This tournament to be held at Israel from 2nd April to 8th April, 2016.

For above selection matches were conducted at Eklavya Sports Stadium, Agra on 27th Feb, 2016. Shruti finished second and placed herself in Indian Team.

Before that, in School National Games at Hyderabad, she won Silver Medal for her Team. Also she won Silver Medal in Individual event. She plays for AIR INDIA and from Adarsh VPS TT Academy Badlapur.
