Power Play by Indian Boys and Girls in 2016 WC to enter Semi-Finals
Kuala Lampur, (04-Mar-2016)
In another exciting match with Puerto Rica in Quarter Finals, Indian Girls won by 3-1 to enter Semi- Finals in 2016 World Championships at Kuala Lumpur. India started on tough task as Mouma lost opening match 2-3. At one point she was leading 2-1 up but then lost 2 games. Then Manika won her match to move India on track. Shamini gave lead to India and then Manika again won to enter Semi-Finals.

Mouma Das lost to Adriana Diaz 2-3 (5-11, 14-12, 11-6, 6-11, 5-11)
Manika Batra beat Melaine Daize 3-1 (12-14, 11-8, 11-5, 11-7)
K. Shamini beat Carelyn Cordero 3-2 (12-10, 11-4, 7-11, 10-12, 11-7)
Manika Batra beat Adriana Diaz 3-1 (11-2, 12-10, 12-14, 11-5)

Now India will take on with Serbia in Semi-Finals.

For Mens first they beat Hungary 3-1 in first round of Main Draw. Then they took on with Nigeria with whom they have lost 0-3 in group match. Though it was a tough task, Indian Mens showed their skill and defeated Nigerian this time 3-2 to enter Semi-Finals.

Soumyajit Ghosh lost to Quadri 2-3 (11-9, 11-8, 9-11,3-11, 9-11)
Sharath beat Segun Toriola 3-1 (11-3, 13-11, 9-11, 11-5)
Sharath beat Quadri 3-1 (8-11, 11-8, 11-3, 11-9)
Soumyajit Ghosh beat Segun Toriola 3-0 (9-1, 11-4, 11-9)

Mens will take on Egypt in Semi-Finals.
