A very good news for India. Sharath and Mouma have reserved their place for Rio 2016 Olympic Games. For the first time, India will be playing with full squad of 4 players in Olympic. Sharath and Mouma - both have experience of Athens Olympic 2004 with them.

At the Asian Olympic Games Qualification tournament - Stage 2, the Sharath defeated Noshad of Iran 4-3 (12-14,11-6,3-11,7-11,11-4,11-7,11-6).

Mouma first lost in final to Ri Myong Sun of North Korean in straight games of 3-11, 9-11, 10-12, 5-11. But in next chance Mouma defeated Rimma Gufranova of Uzbekistan 4-1 (11-13, 11-9, 13-11, 11-7, 12-10) and bagged the ticket to Rio.
