As a part of 2016 ITTF World Junior Circuit, Slovak Junior Open, India is playing in Junior Boys - Group E. The Tournament is getting played at Senec, SLOVAKIA, between 19 to 22 May, 2016. It is proud to Thane to see Siddhesh Pande playing as a part of Indian Team.

In 1st Stage Groups Matches, India started very well by beating SLOVAK REPUBLIC B Team 3-0. In this, Siddhesh Pande beat Rene Reho 3-1 (11-6, 7-11, 12-10, 13-11).

Then India played with SLOVENIA. It was a very tough fight. India's Ronit Bhanja and Manav Thakkar won their individual matches. Siddhesh played very well but lost to Aliaz Smaljecelj in decider. Once he was up with 2-1 lead. Match score - 2-3 (9-11, 11-2, 11-8, 8-11, 6-11).

Again India given tough fight to SERBIA A Team but lost 2-3.

Along with INDIA, SLOVENIA, SERBIA A and SLOVAK REPUBLIC B are part of Group E. India now at 3rd position in this Group with 4 points. SERBIA A Team at top with 6 points.

Siddhesh being Thane District player, is getting trained under Coach Mrs. Shailaja Gohad at Booster Academy.
