In Slovak Junior Open, in Junior Boys' Singles, Qualifying matches started. Siddhesh was in Group 15 along with Japan, Serbia and Slovok players. The most difficult to handle was Adam Brat from host country Slovakia. Siddhesh has played magnificently and beat Adam who is 15th seeded, easily by 3-0. Then he also beat the Japanese and Serbian players. Thus he emerged at Top position in his Group.

Siddhesh beat 3 group players as below:

BRAT Adam (SVK) 3-0 (11-6, 11-4, 11-8)
MARTINOVIC Niksa (SRB) 3-1 (12-14, 11-5, 11-7, 11-1)
KOBAYASHI Hiromu (JPN) 3-2 (7-11, 11-7, 11-8, 10-12, 11-5)

After that, Siddhesh continued his great performance to win first and second rounds and reached Quarter Final.

MEISSNER Cedric GER lost to Siddhesh 3-4 (12-10,5-11,10-12,11-9,6-11,11-7,8-11)

Round of 16 (Second Round)
KAYAMA Yu JPN lost to Siddhesh 3-4 (11-6,8-11,7-11,11-7,6-11,11-7,10-12)

Thus he reached Quarter Final.

In Quarter he lost to Hohmeier Nils of Germany.

Another Indian player Ananth Devarajan played very well to finish Top in his Group no. 11. He beat players from Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia. The best victory was over German Nils Hohmeier who is 11th seed player. But Ananth lost in first round by Slovakian player.
