Thane District Interclub Tournament 2016 was played between 27 May to 29 May, 2016. Tournament saw strong participation with 84 Team Entries from Thane District Clubs. The event was played in 3 Groups as MD & CAD, SJ & JR and YOUTH& SR. Many Clubs sent multiple entries for each group.
First 2 days were of group matches. All Teams were divided in 3 or 4 groups and played stage 1 as Round Robin. Top teams qualified for Quarter and then Semis were played. Booster Club of Thane and Royal Table Tennis Academy of Ambarnath won their Semi Finals in MD & CAD Group and appeared for Final.
On day 3, Finals started. First final was played for MD & CAD Group. In a very good match, Booster Club of Thane beat Royal Table Tennis Academy of Ambarnath 3-0 and won the Gold. Royal took the Silver. Pinnacle Club finished with Bronze.

In SJ & JR Group Pro TT Club clinch the Gold. Fr. Agnel won the Silver and Officers Club A Team was on 3rd place.

For YOUTH & SR Group, Gold was also won by Pro TT Club. Booster Club was at second place with Silver and Dombivli Gymkhana A Team won the Bronze.
All winner teams won cash prizes all together of Rs. 41,000/-
