Rio Olympics 2016 - Table Tennis - China shadow
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, (20-Aug-2016)
All events in Table Tennis completed at Rio Olympics, 2016. China played to take away All GOLDs. Japan was next with 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals. Germany followed them.

Performance of India was still at low. All four players knocked out in 1st round. But Monika Batra put away tough fight loosing 2-4.

How Indian Players played:

Manika Batra lost to Polish - Katarzyna Franc-Grzybowska (2-4) 12-10 6-11 12-14 11-8 4-11 12-14.
Mouma Das lost to Daniela Dodean Monteiro of Romania (0-4) 2-11, 7-11, 7-11, 3-11.
Sharath Kamal lost to Crisan Adrian of Romania (1-4) 8-11, 12-14, 11-9, 6-11, 8-11.
Soumyajit Ghosh lost to Padasak Tanviriyavechakul (1-4) 8-11, 6-11, 14-12, 6-11, 11-13.

We hope that our TT players will put on more efforts and take inspiration from PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik to have a good performance and medals in TT at next Olympic 2020 at Tokyo, Japan.
