Thane District TT Season 2016 concluded with Thane District Championship 2016 tournament at Fr. Agnel Sports Complex, Vashi. TDTTA conducted total 7 district level tournaments which helped Thane players with lots of match practice. This will help them to perform better at State and National level.

Siddhesh Pande and Shruti Amrute were declared as "Player of the Year 2016-17" and awarded with cash prize for their excellent performance at International, National and State level tournaments.

Deepit Patil and Gaurav Panchangam selected as "Emerging Player of the Year 2016-17" for their best performance at State level tournaments.

Shri. Yatin Tipnis Sir also congratulated Mr. Rohit Shinde for successfully completing Referees Exam in A Grade, conducted by TTFI.

Tipnis Sir also announced Thane District Teams for different Groups and wished all players Best Wishes for remaining State, National and International Level tournaments.
