Maharashtra Teams announced for 78th Senior National & Inter-State Table Tennis Championships, 2016 to be held at Gurgaon, Haryana from 31st Jan to 5th Feb. 2017. Thane players are part of these teams. Sanish Ambekar and Siddhesh Pande from Thane will represent Mens A Team. Other players are Omkar Torgalkar, Ravindra Kotiyyan and Eric Fernandes.

In Mens B Team, Zubin Taraporewalla and Tejas Kamble have researved their seats. Other players are Jignesh Rahatwal, Shourya Pednekar and Nishant Kulkarni.

Womens Team has Shruti Amrute along with Pooja Koparkar, Charvi Kavle, Shrushti Helangadi and Priti Mokashi.

Rutuja Khopkar, Manasi Deshpande, Disha Hulawale and Jagruti Murbadkar are placed in Womens B Team. Dyuti Patki is another playear.

Till now, in National Championships 2016, in Team events, Maharashtra has bagged 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals. We are still waiting for Gold in Teams event. Lets hope for best. Best of Luck to all Team Members !!!
