In 2nd Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2017, at Nagpur, Thane players performed very well and bagged 4 Gold Medals. In addition to that, also taken away 7 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze.
Arya is a New State level Champ , played very nice to beat Prutha Vartikar of Pune 3-1 to get her first State level Gold Medal.



Deepit also performed best and won the Gold Medal in Sub-Junior Group. Along with that, he also claimed Silver Medal in Junior Group.


Siddhesh won in Youth group to bring 3rd Gold for Thane District and also Silver Medal in Mens group.

Sanish strike Gold in Mens group and that is the 4th Gold for Thane. Gold was paired with Silver in Youth group.



Shreya Deshpande also put all her best to win 2 Silver Medals in Womens and Youth groups. It was added with Bronze Medal in Junior Girls. All round performance by Shreya in all 3 possible groups where she can play.

Disha Hulawle too played nicely to bag Silver in Junior group and Bronze in Womens group.

Hruday Jain also won Silver Medal in Midget boys.

Jitendra Yadav was another player from Thane to win Bronze Medal in Jr. Boys.

Altogether encouraging performance by Thane District players in Nagpur State level Ranking Tournament.
